August Artist Spotlight: Talon Dunning

Born in Atlanta, Talon Dunning was raised in Miami, Florida before moving back to Atlanta in 1997 after graduating in Fine Art from Auburn University. Talon now does freelance illustration in the RPG and CCG industries. Currently, his main client is White Wolf with whom he interned in 1999-2000.

Talon is our August spotlight artist. We’ll be giving you more peeks into the game’s art and other artists as the months progress.

    Let’s see if I can take a crack at this…

    First panel: Nicodemus and a captured Harry.
    Second panel: I’m thinking Harry being offered a Denarian coin.
    Third panel: Red Court vampires. “Rempires”? Nah, “blampires” made more sense.

    WOW! These are great! I can’t wait to see more. A group of us is already getting excited about the RPG…as soon as its out, we will have a campaign going!

    i love these. i think the second illustration might be from book seven, when harry is talking to harry about accepting lasciel

    Pretty good. I like the characterization of Harry though I am not as fond of Nicodemus. I picture him older. And less Disco.

    can’t wait for the game to hit the shelves. Wouldn’t buy a RPG for the art but it sure does sweeten the deal!
