    Beautiful. But apart from adding the back cover, what Changes were made? I’m not particularly concerned about minor editing issues, but I remember reading somewhere that the magic item system was being modified a bit for the final draft. Anything else different?

    @Nick, the two major new things are a revamp of the enchanted items implementation as well as some clarifications in spellcasting and the powers chapters, and in Our World, 8 pages of new Jim Butcher fiction. Plus tons of typo corrections! :)

    Man, I was hoping for a Dresden/Alphas gaming session. Ah well, still good stuff.

    @Esoteric Wombat, I think that’s in another previously published short story. I forget which one.

    It’s “Day Off” in Blood Lite. And quite amusing. :)

    Also, thanks for the quickness of getting the PDFs, the new version is even more awesome than the old. And the story is particularly neat.

    @fred
    I think it’s Harry’s day off, but I might be wrong.

    Evil Hat is breaking the Paradigm. I know of some authors that podcast their books before they sending them to the printer. This had the effect of their listeners proofing/editing their work before the dead tree version. But you guys went one step further. You got us to Pay you to proof read your work before sending to the printers. Well done.

    I love what you have with DFRPG, and I am happy with what I have been exploring. Kudos to everyone involved.

    Stumbled on this offer a bit late – but thank you! There’s limited space around my computer, but now I can have the final version of the rules handy while I’m talking to people on the forums.
