    Thanks, Fred! I’m going to try to get a little DFRPG in every day.

    Every time I look at this list, I find it momentarily confusing that one of the rooms is named “Clark.” :)

    I’m curious are the write up for the DFRPG modules going to be available for those of us not attending origins?

    I had heard that one is a werewolf Fraternity based game and would love to see the plot for that.

    @Luke, that’s up to each individual GM. :)

    @Luke
    Luke, I’m running the Werewolf Fraternity game and I’d be glad to post my game notes once the summer conventions are over as I’ll also be running them at Gencon. But I don’t really have full written out modules for my games, mostly what I have written down are Character Sheets, NPCs, a list of setting and game aspects, and some notes.

    @Morgan
    Morgan thank you so much! As a werewolf nut I’m very much looking forward to seeing it and I hope your sessions go well.

    Looking at signing up for the Neutral Grounds game. Not played a Fate based system before. Excited about the game and loved the books. Didn’t pre-order since I was unfamiliar with how Fate played and I hoped I’d get a chance to try it at Origins. Anything you’d suggest for with people who haven’t played something using Fate before that are looking to sign up for a session?

    @Bryan, if you’re unfamiliar with Fate and disinclined to preorder, you can head over to http://www.faterpg.com/ and read the Spirit of the Century SRD, which is a lot of the content of Spirit of the Century. It’d be enough for you to get a grounding in the core concepts, even if they function a bit differently in DFRPG.

    @Fred
    Will do. I’d hate to drag a game down due to complete lack of familiarity with the system. That just ends up frustrating everyone.

    @Bryan, if you sign up for Neutral Grounds, don’t worry too much – stone cold novices are welcome at my table. :)

    @Clark
    I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll still probably look stuff over as that’s what I tend to do. We’re already signed up for Neutral Grounds for both myself and my wife. Some people that already had the registration page open were able to get registered around 12:45 regardless of them taking it down and the problems that occurred. I just happened to be two of them thanks to having two browsers open, logged in, and on the registration page. Worked like a charm.

    Hey, I’m a little confused about something from the game. Page 279 in Your Story says
    “If you have a focus item that can only do one thing thing—you get a single free “slot upgrade” (as described below) to add an extra +1 bonus.”

    I can’t find the “described below”.

    @Slife, page 280. At the top.

    Blargh! All the DFRPG events for Origins sold out on the first day! Are there plans to add any more, or will it be possible for walk-ins to hope in to a game if someone no-shows? I’m really excited to play, but need to sell my friends on it; playing a session at Origins together was my best bet on that front!

    @SirRogue, yeah, it looks like there’s been really high demand. Unfortunately that’s as much as we can make happen with our volunteer GM squad — we’re even looking at the possibility of one or two of them having to cancel due to some unforeseen financial difficulties in getting to the convention. :P

    That said, do come by our booth in the dealers’ hall, we may be able to find an opportunity to give you a 15-minute demo at least.

    No worries, Sir Rogue. I’m trying to get some people together at Origins on Saturday night to start a campaign that will move online to the Dresden Files forums at RPG Geek after the con. I’m really looking forward to trying out the character and city creation rules, something I’m thinking there wouldn’t be a lot of time for in a ticketed game. Here’s the discussion thread http://rpg.geekdo.com/article/5135558#5135558

    There is so much buzz around this game, I don’t think you and your friends have to worry about not getting a chance to play at Origins.

    Oh yeah, forgot why I wanted to post. Hey, Fred! Do you think you could have a sign up sheet or something at your booth to help interested parties work out when and where to meet at the con for DFRPG open gaming? I’ve never been to a con this big before, so maybe there already is something like that in place in the open gaming areas. It couldn’t hurt.

    @Morgan, find me at the booth on Thursday and remind me of this idea, and we’ll see what we can make happen. :)

    Cool beans! Will do.

    I’m bringing a pile of character sheets and worksheets for general use in case Dresden pick up games break out and spread like wildfire. Players, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring copies of the sheets from the back of YS and available from the downloads section here. Enough for yourself is Good (+3), enough for a game is Fantastic (+6). Also, Fudge dice would be faboo. I’m sure I’m not the only n00b who has never seen a proper set. I’ve made a silver set with pentacles instead of zeros for the occasion, but a game should have more.
