Feast Your Eyes, My Pretties

Just got an update from the printing plant. Here’s some peeks at the books as they’re getting printed and assembled. Have a good (three day) weekend, folks!

Now to get them from there to the local gaming stores…

@wiredwizard, Yeah, alas, logistics means it’ll still be a month or so out.

Taunting isn’t nice Fred. It’s nice to see the giant stacks of gaming goodness though.

@SoulCatcher78, taunting isn’t nice? Dude, what else do we DO here? :)

You’re making me want to go to Origins (which isn’t in the cards this year). I will have to just stalk my mail carrier all of June until my copies arrive.

@SoulCatcher78, late late June is the absolute earliest they’ll arrive. We’ll be *shipping* in late June after Origins, but that probably means arrival times of early July.

Hmmm, I live in NoVA – now if I properly stalk you I can find where they are stored…..

@Arashinomoui, I might be in Maryland, but the books are getting printed somewhere in Texas, and they’ll be shipping from a warehouse in Nevada.

So if I preordered but I’m going to Origins, would it be possible for me to get my copy at the con?

@Esoteric Wombat, alas, no. All the scenarios we ran for that resulted in either lost books, upset customers, or lost sales.

Sucks- I’ll just have to wait. Will there be some copies there that I can get my grubby little paws on for a few minutes?

@Esoteric Wombat, we’ll have about 300 copies of each, though we may keep some of them tucked away until Saturday just in case the Thursday & Friday folks are more ravenous than predicted. :)

I think you’ve leant some things off Jim about how torture your readers! :)

I was reading Your Story on my laptop on the flight back from Hong Kong to London yesterday and really looking forward to my physical copy – nice to see they’re coming along.

Anyone else so desperate for this hard copy that they printed their PDF?

No…I wasn’t so desperate that I printed a copy…I bought an iPad so I could hold it kinda like a book till the real thing appeases me.
