The Books Ship Out June 30th

It’s finally happening!
We’re far enough along, and enough things have fallen into place, that we can say this for sure: the books will start shipping on or around June 30th (basically, the week after we get back from Origins). This is true with our distributors as well, so at least in the USA, that should mean customers who’ve preordered from the Evil Hat webstore or from their friendly local game store will see the books arrive in early July.
Of course, if you’re not a preorder-er and want to fondle the books first before buying, come see our booth at Origins 2010, where they’ll be making their first public appearance. 
Cool I get back to the States on the 29th and my first week back the books will arrive hard to see life getting better than that
Glad to hear it. We are already working on our Dresden game, but it won’t take off until we have actual pages to flip and books to read at the table. Having a couple of months headstart to think about everything has been nice though.
Looking forward to this. Tabletop roleplaying games have nearly disappeared from the shelves of our local hobby store, and I had to pester the boss there to get in a preorder. At the time being it’s the only copy he has ordered, but hopefully my gaming group will tell his gaming group (they overlap) how awesome it is. You know, if it turns out to be awesome, that is =D
Excellent! I can’t wait. Already printed out a copy of V1 at work, and had it spiral bound at staples… Hopefully we’ll start our game up next week.
WOOOOOOOOOOOT! Running it will be easier with physical books– I’m old school, I guess, but I hate “paging through” a book on a computer.
I live in Columbus, Ohio and will be at Origins. Will you have copies of the 2 DFRPG books available for sale there?

Will you be available to sell copies on Wednesday the 23rd. at origins? The only reason I ask is that someone over at RPG.net claimed that the exhibitor hall will not be open on Wednesday, opening for the first time on Thursday the 24th. I have no idea if this is indeed true or not.
So Origins attendees will be getting their books before the pre-orders?
@Jonathan, I believe that’s true. We’re arriving sometime on Wednesday at any rate; that’s the Dealer Hall setup day, so I wouldn’t expect it to be open for business until Thursday.
@Wayne, yes, and that’s been the plan for quite some time, with Origins as the release event, and shipping commencing after said release.
When can your European fans be expecting said books?
@Augustas, tricky question, and I don’t have a good answer. It depends on the vagaries of overseas shipment. But we’ll have books in Esdevium’s hands “soon” (they’re a distributor we work with in the UK), and international customers of the Evil Hat webstore will have their books shipped out at about the same time as everyone else.
When will Diamond get them?
@Dave — before then. They’ll be starting shipping the same day our own warehouse does.
So Alliance West is now SOLD OUT! of the Dreden RPG, both books. I bought the last two for the store after doubling my original order. Life is Good!!!!
