P.S. Would five fate points be enough to most monster attacks?

Also regarding Harry I recall a layout of a character sheet for him on this site some where in character creation and he came out with-9 at the end so he is very much driven by his nature but refuses it and just does not have the chance to spend them till the end, on a side note while I have not read all the books yet and will do so before actually playing but this helps explain why Harry tends to kick ass, have his handed to him on a silver plater or some combination there of but stop me if I'm wrong I have only got past the godmother scene in grave peril

@dark suns
Thanks for the input
About the faith thing basically the way I see it is that in this character's child hood he was the harmless pyromanic type probably helped by the face that his last name is Greek for fire, also seeing fire and heat to be nature's ultimate warning system(like fevers when sick and lack of heat in frost bite) and cure all(cauterization ) and guns are just a way to control that power and who's he may have a being of flame in his family tree;)

@Grant, that certainly is a valid tactic - and also one that explains why Harry get horribly beaten up throughout the novels, and remains entirely clueless, but pulls it all back at the end. However, some tables prefer they aren't all hoarded: it can build a smoother 'economy' of fate points if they aren't.

I personally wouldn't allow faith in guns to have the same affect as Faith in a mystical power such as a God or in Magic; but each table to their own. However skill with such weaponry, that could certainly help in such a situation...

Also is it a viable to save all fate points to throw at the final fight?

I have a character that is basically the punisher, enough firearms to take over a medium sized country if given time to prepare and a faith in guns like harry's faith in magic would he stand a chance against an army of vampires?
