You could also take an idea from other sources. You could be a holy warrior with a different weapon. Check out 'Knight of the Word' by Terry Brooks for some ideas.@Mr. Valintine

I was thinking about creating a jade court vampire template. They would have feeding dependency (obviously), but they would feed through combat. Their only powers would be inhuman speed and recovery (possibly supernatural for either, based on the vampire's experience), with the catch being unarmed combat. They would have a spirit, kind of like the white court's hunger, but less inclined to kill, housed in a jade armband (hence jade court). Jade court vampires are made, not born, and one has to go through a trial of unarmed combat against a jade court member first. To be "cured", one has to lose in a form of ritual combat to a non-jade court vampire. They would all know a secret martial art that capitalizes on the speed of the race, and several others. Also, they would all be banned, or possibly unable, to use weapons of any kind. Please tell me what you think.

I'm thinking about adding a power level of "Deep" (in keeping with the analogy) to my personal campaign, with 12 refresh and 40 skill points, to allow for a bit more power and flexibility, in addition to creating some templates from other supernatural sources (i.e. an Immortal from Highlander, for example). What's neat, is that the needed abilities are already IN the DFRPG, I didn't have to create new ones and risk unbalancing additions.
